Blogger Masterchef Semi-final

Okay okay just say it..T_T *I wouldn't even dare to take the picture of my dish besides everybody else's dish* I was at the verge of breaking down when everything just doesn't go well T_T

First, the pan is tooooooooo non-stick that everytime I'm spreading the popiah skin batter, the batter quickly lifted and sticks to my hand instead of sticking onto the pan! At that moment I can hear myself hearing "Don't panic wawa!don't panic!!!" the thought suddenly changes to "how can I not panic?! the pan won't co-operate!" but at last I settled for two skins T_T

Second, just as I want to start cooking the filling, the induction cooker doesn't work! And then the crews asked me to use the one in front. But it doesn't work also! The last one works but..but..*note the but there* the oil just won't heat up! And there I was 10 minutes left!

Third, I lost my wiping cloth! Luckily, the blogger in front of me was soooooo kind he let me use his. Thank you so much orang depan!

Four, back to the popiah skin, I have two but only one is usable! The other teared at the centre that the filling came out!

Five- one popia, no idea for garnishing. So I just drizzled some chili sauce, cut some tomatoes, capsicum and some julienned carrot on the plate :"( wait wait!by the time I'm typing this I suddenly have this brilliant idea! I should garnish it with mushrooms! *okayy but that still doesn't change the fact that I only have popiah on the dish..one popiah!ONE!!!UNO!!! T_T

I was seriously holding my tears at that moment but I fought with myself. No!No! Don't cry! Just go through this one! It's just a competition. After all I'm not entering it for the sake of winning is it? So just go through it.

So, praise be to the Almighty, I got a place for final. Lesson for today is: Don't give up!
