Birth Rehearsal Imagery

Letter #2

Today, we both had the chance to practice the second part of the CD. The second part was quite a handful as it conveys messages though beautiful and reassuring, it is quite long to digest. But worry not, we will try our best to practice as much as we can. And every practice will include you!

I believe you are so relaxed and calm inside there. Thank you for being a good baby. But if there's anything wrong, you know you can just give me a kick. Hihih.

You're 5 months now. 4 months++ to go till we both can meet. We can't wait to meet you, touch you, kiss you and tickle you! Till then enjoy your swim :P

Hello baby

Few weeks ago, I ordered a book entitled "Hypnobirthing The Mongan Method". The book was awesome! Since 1st trimester had treated me pretty harshly, I am so glad this book had me gain and recollect so much positivity and renewed my energy.

Above all, I now really believe that every woman are made for this and it is not necessary to endure pain throughout the whole process *super relieved!* But to achieve that stage of calmness I must really practice the breathing techniques and set my mind that everything will be alright.

The book also emphasize on pre-birth bonding with the baby (the main point I'm writing this). Make the baby feel welcomed and wanted. Sing to the baby, read to the baby, talk to the baby, tell the baby how much the baby is loved. Among others, it is recommended to write letters or keep journal for the baby.

So here goes my first letter to my baby:

Letter #1

Hi, baby! Mama here and those noises you heard occasionally are Papa and Mama talking to you while caressing my tummy. We love you especially Papa. He constantly reminds me to be grateful that I am not working and can take care of both of us without any distraction. He also reminds me not to talk too much *hihi* and watch every word I say just in case you will get hurt from those words. Ok baby will write to you again soon!

Late late late

My husband is fast asleep and it's 3..pm! hmmmpphhh!!!

I got a tight schedule till next year and I just can't afford wasting any seconds what else hours. Man, I hate thinking or planning or doing anything relating to time management. Time management means organisation and organisation means tiring and tiring means stressful. But what can you do.

I wanna be a bird please. No, I'm kidding. I wanna be a butterfly. Ok kidding again. Erghh! How to wake your husband up? I need to go to two shops, two friends' house (supposedly three but I think that's too much to ask by now).

Oh, great! and now it's raining, heavily. Welcome to married life people! Well, nobody said it was easy T_T. I thought marrying a version of me would be fun. You know laid back, carefree and all. No it's not! No wonder my mum can't stand me! I can't even stand his version of myself now. Lol.
